Zanzibar is a word that speaks about the pristine sandy beaches, the sun-downers and majestic sunsets, the seafood, and the spices!!!
We lived in Zanzibar for almost a year in 2007, Zanzibar restaurant at Ajman Kempinski took us back to memory lane!!!! Roaming in the lanes of the stone town and walking to the port to see the sunset was our favorite thing to do. Our favorite Pizza place was next to Serena hotel, by the shores. The church, the library, and Maharaja restaurant, those were days!!!
Though there was no stone town the sense of the pristine beach, cabanas, and Madafu at Kempinsky Ajman's newly launched beach restaurant, "Zanzibar" which specializes in steak, barbecue, and seafood. The restaurant is located right on the beach facing the vast Persian Gulf. Guests can relish the variety of sumptuous delicacies and drinks served at Island style restaurant. Although Zanzibar's specialty was non-vegetarian, Chef suggested a few vegetarian mouthwatering dishes for me.
My husband loved the platter of seafood at the restaurant while the boys enjoyed the pulled beef burgers. I was happy with the veggie patties platter with delicious patties served on a fried/ roasted naan piece, spinach/tomato/onion salad, and sour cream for dip!!!! It was a fun-filled day with beach n pool relaxation and the sumptuous meal at Zanzibar restaurant. Wait, a bit more it was the beginning of my birthday celebrations which actually falls on the 19th but there was a surprise cake for me, ❤️ Sums up to a happy day with my adorable boys,?
Call it a hangover after the first week of school or laziness, we enjoyed relaxing in the pool and revisited Zanzibar in memoriesBack to school n work tomorrow, the weekend is already over,
