Happy New Year to my social family, love you all! I hope you started new year with a bang and have made some new memories already. How did you welcome the New Year 2020? Well, we had planned a house party at a friend’s house on New Year’s Eve, we all got together, ate tons of delicious foods and then headed to watch the epic fireworks at the JBR. It was so much fun with loved ones.
The first day of 2020 started in a great way for us, family time, 5-star hotel brunch and loads of food and activities at the luxurious Caesar’s Palace Hotel at Bluewaters Island. We visited them for a festive family brunch on 1st January, I would say one of the best family brunches we have ever had. The main USP was the cheerful activities for the kids. Kids were so engaged while parents could sip on wines and relish the sumptuous foods, chitchat around and enjoy the sun. Acrobats, Magician, Magic Mirror, Slime Factory, Arts and Crafts, Face Painting, Balloons, Cookie decorating and a small petting zoo, the kids were totally amused.
The buffet served dishes from around the world, various types of cheese, seafood, Indian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and so on, separate kids counter, all their special foods, there was something for everyone. The buffet included pool access as well. OMG, the dessert area was to die for, so tempting. The staff was well trained and efficient in their approach. The magician came to our table and kids were fascinated to see his tricks. The balloon maker made boys a cute balloon gun and that slime was aghhhh, we may have forgotten to pack it for home or maybe not, 🙂 It did bring sadness to the little boy, when not see it in my purse.
We chose to sit outside in the open, the beach is just a few steps away from the restaurant. There is indoor seating available as well, I loved the dreamcatcher decors. Kids loved playing around with other kids, there were so many happy faces. Hubby was brave enough to have a snake wrapped around his neck and the little one had a turtle kept on his thigh while I and the older one watched them from outside. Later, I gathered myself to try doing the same but they were already packing up. There were rabbits, parrots, goat as well in the petting zoo and another big reptile which was the center of attraction. Parents took time to stay with their kids while they were visiting the petting zoo, the rest of the time kids were on their own, making arts and crafts or getting their faces painted and dancing on the stage.
DJ played some of the best songs, we walked to the beach after food, beautiful blue waters and the clean private beach looked so relaxing even at that peak day time, the weather in Dubai is the best at the moment. My little one was exhausted after the whole day of activities; it was kind of extravaganza on the first day of the year. I hope the rest of the year will bring many celebrations like this! Will bring you more experiences soon, Happy New Year 2020! May you all be blessed with great health, love, and success!
